UEFA Champions League final the hottest ticket in town

One fan has splashed out a stunning £9,879 for a seat at Saturday's all-Madrid showpiece at San Siro, beating the record £8,704 sum a supporter paid last year
For the second time in three years the UEFA Champions League final is an all-Madrid affair, with Atletico Madrid out for revenge over city rivals Real.

Saturday's showpiece at San Siro is the hottest ticket in town, with Ticketbis revealing one fan has splurged a staggering £9,879 to attend - a record fee for a sporting event via the site, beating last season's £8,704 sum a supporter paid for a VIP ticket at the Juventus v Barcelona final in Munich.
Defender Filipe Luis this week revealed he suffered a number of sleepless nights in 2014 after a last-minute Sergio Ramos header forced extra time and allowed Real to run out 4-1 winners in Lisbon.
Atleti have roared through another European campaign, though, and will be out for a third major scalp having already eliminated tournament favourites Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
Champions League all-time leading goalscorer Cristiano Ronaldo rounded off the rout two years ago, netting his record 17th goal of the campaign, and a goal this weekend would see him become the first player to score in three finals.
The Portugal international will hope to once again put Atleti to the sword – with 16 strikes to his credit this season so far, a double in Milan will see him break his own record for goals in a single campaign.
The cheapest seat currently available from Ticketbis for this weekend’s final and Ronaldo's shot at history is priced at £736, while the average price for secondary market tickets currently sits at £1,535.
