Nevertheless, Buffon did not see Italy as a favorite team. According to the Juventus goalkeeper, Italy will face a tough challenge in the European Cup in 2016.

"I put Italy behind Germany, France, Spain, and Belgium. On paper, I place the country - the country on the front line," said Buffon was quoted as saying by France Football, Monday (31/05/2016).
Currently, Buffon was the age of 38 years. However, the former Parma keeper was still able to show stable performance with Juventus and Italy.
Throughout his career, Buffon has recorded 157 appearances with Italy. 2016 European Cup became an international tournament to - 9 for Buffon.
"I want to keep playing until I was 40 years old, and I have prepared myself to play at a sixth World Cup (2018)," he said.
